*Please contact us in advance to avoid disappointment— We receive more inquiries than we have capacity to take on. Wedding dates can be booked as far as 1 year in advance.

 

SERVICE SET-UP REQUIREMENTS

  • Please have a nearby electrical outlet for hair tools.

  • Hair services will need regular- height chairs.

  • Be sure to have an area cleared and available table for your stylist to set up products and hot tools.

  • We’ll bring professional products and tools.

  • Do not add any product to your hair/roots before the stylist arrives.

  • Please wear a button-down shirt, zipped-down hoody, or robe. Avoid tight fitted tops to prevent ruining your hairstyle.

  • It’s best to set up by a mirror and if possible, near a window for natural lighting.

  • On the day of your trial adding light makeup or booking makeup simultaneously will help bring your vision to life.

  • *If you have any allergies please specify in your inquiring email.

WEDDING/EVENT DAY SCHEDULING

  • Our team has no need for exact timelines. All assigned schedules are estimates to correspond with your end time. Party members may be complete earlier than expected. Everyone takes a different amount of time depending on hairstyle choice, hair texture, and hair density. It’s best to start with the parties that need to be done before or with the bride/honorary guest.

  • On average getting ready time is 4-5 hours. Your getting ready time will be based on your party size. It’s best to have a nice and early start time.

  • Your end time is when your photographer arrives not your first look time.

  • Services are not booked by the hour besides standby touch-ups.

  • We take pride in providing you with a service within good timing so you can remain on schedule for the rest of your wedding day.

  • As your glam service provider, we put into consideration possible delays such as late party arrivals or party members not being available due to them needing to help out in a last minute emergency. When creating your schedule, there will be wiggle room for possible day of hiccups.

  • Once services are completed regardless of end time the Fluff Me artist will pack up to head to their next destination or home unless standby touch-up services are requested.

STANDBY TOUCH-UPS

From experience standby touch-ups are most important after a 2 hour plus outdoor photoshoot in hot, humid, wet and windy weather conditions. There is no guarantee glam will remain the same from the effects of glam wear and tear due to weather conditions on your big day.

Normally standby touch-ups are scheduled till cocktail hour. Your artist can be around to refresh glam when affected by the outdoor weather and after your photoshoot.


Touch-up services are only for clients that received a paid service from a Fluff Me artist. If additional party guest hair is already styled by an outside vendor or they styled it themselves and would like a Fluff Me artist to restyle their hair in any way, it will be charged accordingly at a full service rate.

Standby touch-up time will begin after booked services are completed.


BOOKING POLICIES

  • We're a bridal/event hair team. Weekend dates are reserved for bridal bookings. A booking minimum is required to secure your spot in advance. Please email us for more information.

  • To reserve your date, a retainer or deposit will be needed to book your appointment. No date is held without a retainer or deposit. We work on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once your appointment is booked, we will honor that date and time for you.

  • Your paid non- refundable retainer will be forfeited if your contract is not completed within 48 hours.

  • A contract and paid retainer is required to secure your wedding date.

  • *Inquiries for which the retainer or deposit has not been received are not confirmed and therefore our availability cannot be guaranteed.

  • Retainers and deposits are non-refundable once you’ve booked your appointment, unless there is an error caused by Fluff Me. A retainer or deposit also holds your time slot on Fluff Me schedule. Other potential clients will be turned away once your appointment is booked. The retainer / deposit and cancellation fee compensate for stylist time and turned away clientele.

  • Event day retainer will go towards administrative time needed for us to help you leading up towards your date.

  • An assistant fee applies to party bookings. The assistant fee will cover sourcing, securing & managing of a licensed cosmetologist under Fluff Me COI for your date.

  • We at Fluff Me do not provide clip-in hair extensions. We provide the service of installing and styling our guest clip-in hair extensions on the day of their appointment. Clients are responsible for providing and purchasing their own clip-in hair extensions.

TRAVELING FEE

Fluff Me is an door to door service. We travel to your home, hotel, or any venue with the needed equipment for your hair services.

  • For services outside of NYC, Uber transportation to and from must be provided by the client plus quoted travel fee.

  • Transportation must be arranged by the client. The travel fee is separate.

  • Travel fee is requested due to travel cost, distance, and carried equipment needed for all services.

  • The travel fee applies to all requested services.

  • Please inquire about booking minimum and requirements with service distances of 5 miles or more from zip code 10001.


    HAIR TRIALS

  • We look forward to your hair trial! It’s best to book your trial in the same season as your wedding day. This will give the best accuracy on how your hair will behave. All trials are scheduled from Monday-Thursday. We recommend booking your trial 2-3 months before your wedding day. This will act as a guide to allow us into the mindset of your bridal/event season.

  • The purpose of a trial will be learning together your likes and dislike. We’ll discuss together what will be possible and any steps and professional recommendations needed to achieve your dream hair.

  • Hair trials are not just to working out the perfect look but also to ensure there is no skin sensitivities to the product used. It’s however, the client’s responsibility to inform us should any reaction occur after the trial so that we can avoid the use of the product(s) that caused it. It’s the client’s responsibility to share with their artist before their appointment about any allergies, skin conditions, and concerns before receiving services from us.

  • Trials are professionally recommended to help you and your artist preview your hair goals before your memorable day. You and your artist will gain a better understanding together of what products will and will not work for you (all hair textures do not respond equally to all products), what technique of styling will fit your needs best, and to confirm if hair extensions will be required for your hair goals. At times scheduling more than one trial will help you and your artist discover what will help you feel like your best self.

  • Hair trials can only be booked within NYC or locations 5 miles or less outside of NYC.

  • Our time together for your hair trial is not only to find a style that you'll love but also to see if we're a good fit overall. It's important that your wedding day is a great experience working together for you and your artist. Trials are non-refundable. A trial does not guarantee a contract. Dates can be rejected if we find for any reason that our time together will not be a great experience for you and your artist.

  • To request your date please contact us to confirm availability.

  • Retainer or deposit payment is nonrefundable.

  • If you would like to extend your services, accommodations can be made.

  • We don’t hold wedding/event dates without a retainer or deposit & completed contract.

  • Dates are reserved on a first come first serve basis. Please request your contract as early as possible. Appointments are booked as far as 1 year in advance.

  • Due to large volumes of inquiries, clients are solely responsible to remember to pay the retainer or deposit and signed contract to finalize their date. Inquired date availability is subject to change without a paid retainer or deposit and completed contract.

PAYMENT

  • Venmo, credit card and cash are acceptable methods of payments.

  • We do not accept checks.

  • Disclaimer: If you’ve received a Fluff Me service and your remaining balance is not paid in full after your service is completed, the credit card that is on file for your service will be charged for any remaining balance as well as a 10% late payment processing fee.
